Credentialing Coordinator - Hybrid Position (Part-Time/Days)

Overlake Clinics has a part-time (20 hours/week) Credentialing Coordinator position available in Women’s Services. The individual in this role will be responsible for physician and other provider credentialing with the payers for new appointments and reappointment. They will maintain provider NPI directories and support Provider Coordinator with provider onboarding activities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma/GED required. College degree preferred.

Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.

Experience: Requires one year experience in an administrative assistant or other administrative/clerical role. Prior experience in a health care environment preferred. Provider payer credentialing experience preferred.

Special Training/Skills: Knowledge of current accreditation standards and requirements related to medical staff organizations preferred; knowledge of hospital by laws, meeting formats, and procedures preferred; minute taking and writing skills; ability to discern and maintain confidentiality; ability to handle multiple tasks and handle frequent interruptions; good oral and written communication skills.
